nano, an anisong singer who would be performing in Indonesia this year, has canceled the scheduled show in Jakarta which supposed to be held later in 9 September 2017. The announcement was published through nano’s official page on Facebook on Friday (21/7). The decision was made due to concerns over terrorist attacks in Jakarta. It was not specifically mentioned which terror case caused the concern.

The announcement informs that ticket holders for the canceled show will be receiving refunds. The details for the refunds will be informed through a different post on the Facebook page at a later time.

On the post, nano also expresses regret and apologise for the cancellation of the concert in Jakarta. In addition, nano still hopes that there will be another chance to perform in Indonesia.

The concert itself is a part of nano’s, “5th Anniversary Tour「The Crossing」“, which takes its name from nano’s fourth album, “The Crossing“. The tour consists of live concerts in Japan, Hongkong, and Taiwan and Jakarta. In Japan itself, the concert will be held in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Hokkaido, Osaka, and Aichi. The canceled concert in Jakarta was supposed to be held at Upper Jakarta on 9 September 2017, and closed of the tour that will start on 11 August 2017.

nano (stylized as ナノ) is an anisong singer, who used to be an Utaite —an amateur singer who covers song and upload it into the internet— before debuted under the label Flying Dog in 2012. nano was born and raised in the United States, and is fluent in both English and Japanese. nano has performed several theme songs for numerous anime such as “No Pain, No Game” for BTOOOM!‘s opening theme, “Savior of Song” which featured My First Story for Arpeggio of Blue Steel‘s opening theme, and “Sable” for M3: The Dark Metal‘s ending theme.

nano previously had performed a couple times in Indonesia. The most recent performance was at I Love Anisong concert in AFAID 2016 on 17 September 2016.
