What stands out the most from URAHARA is its distinct visual identity. It’s images are busy, filled to the brim with colourful cute and sweet knick-knacks (even the tanks, attack helicopters, and missile are cute), and split screens are frequently used, an exploded projection that facilitates multiple happenings to be presented simultaneously. The girls are also bustling in making and doing various things. It’s like a collage or mural that celebrates expressions of creative self through cuteness.
The first episode is very simple and straightforward in introducing the alien invasion plot. Though it remains to be seen how exactly the series will play out the contents for each upcoming episodes.
