In 2020, prior to Tokyo Olympic 2020 event, sushi fever spread around the world. To preserve the authenticity of sushi that circulated in the society, Japanese government forms a special unit called 9th division or Sushi Police in charge to eradicate “non-authentic” sushi that is sold in the other regions.
The first episode of Sushi police itself was only introducing the plot and characters who will be presented in this 3DCG anime series. However, seeing its unique and weird premise (reputedly inspired by a true story) can be executed so well with some beautiful 3DCG animations, Sushi police can become an alternative if you are looking for an entertaining short anime series. Tabi Machi Late Show is a 4-episode short anime series produced by Comix Wave Studio. With duration of seven minutes, Tabi Machi Late Show tells story about farewell and journey, in a modest way possible, story-wise and character-wise.
Tabi Machi came with a simple animation. There is nothing attractive nor exciting. Even though, this anime handles its story and character very greatly. The characters’ background are expressed calmly, inducing a cozy impression to this anime. It’s very suitable for watchers who seek for light and heartwarming story. Teekyuu is a two-minutes short anime, tells the daily lives of a tennis club consists of Yuri, Kanae, Nasuno, and Marimo who for this season, want to win the national competition.
Surprisingly long with more than one and half year, it’s very good for the sport genre as a pretext. There’s not many to tell about, still the same hit or miss gag, but it’s proven. (Kevin W / KAORI Newsline)

This short anime tells the classic narrative of Japanese traditional ghost story.
It’s no-frills show: Yamishibai did its job diligently with such degree of realism reflected, makes it feels creepy (and these are what you really want from a real horror show.). (Kevin W/KAORI Newsline)
