Japanese solo artist Kei Takebuchi will perform for the first time outside of Japan at the 25th Gelar Jepang Universitas Indonesia (GJUI 25) in August 2019. This was announced on Takebuchi’s own, and GJUI committee’s social media accounts. She mentions that this is her first time performing overseas, and expresses her gratitude for being given the invitation to perform in front of her Indonesian fans. Takebuchi is also thankful for the support of the fans that has brought her beyond Japan’s shores. She will perform on the closing day of GJUI as the headline act from Japan.

Takebuchi started her career in 2010 as a vocalist of PlayYou.House, part of the Sony Walkman “Play You” project, which has since continued as Goose House. As Goose House, the group has sung many anime theme songs, such as for Silver Spoon and Your Lie in April, with Takebuchi as the main vocalist. At the end of 2018, she decided to go solo and has released a song titled “In this blanket” via her official Youtube account.
