In this brand-new Wiro Sableng movie project, Lala will also once again invite Vino G. Bastian, an actor and also the son of Wiro Sableng’s writer, Bastian Tito. Previously, Vino has been involved behind the screen as an associate producer in Tabula Rasa movie. “Vino’s holding the rights for Wiro Sableng 212, therefore our collaboration is pretty much set on stone”, said Lala.

Wiro Sableng is the main character in a Silat novel series which has been published since 1967, and gained popularity during the 1990s when it was adapted into a couple of movies and TV serials. Wiro Sableng, with his double-edged axe as his weapon and the “212” numbering on his chest is often portrayed as a strong fighter who acts crazy most of the time, therefore resulting in him being underestimated.
To make things interesting, Lala also published her photo on Twitter with Vino G. Bastian, alongside the villain duo from The Raid movie, Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman. Even so, there hasn’t been any further information regarding both actors’ involvement in this new project, after their play in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
