To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Sailor Moon manga, Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer, and retailer, Uniqlo, released their latest line-up of “Sailor Moon UT” featuring scenes and characters from the manga. This collection is available for women starting from August 30, 2019, in their stores in Indonesia.
Previously, Uniqlo has released their latest line-up of “Manga UT” in Indonesia featuring events and characters from Weekly Shonen Magazine such as Shota no Sushi, The Seven Deadly Sins, Negima! Magister Negi Magi, Fairy Tail, Hajime no Ippo, and Attack on Titan, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Weekly Shonen Magazine.
Sailor Moon is a manga written and illustrated by Naoki Takeuchi. Sailor Moon follows the story of a schoolgirl named Usagi Tsukino and her quest to search for a magical artefact, “Legendary Silver Crystal”, with her power to transform into Sailor Moon. Usagi band together with other Sailor Scout to battle against evil, protect the crystal and defend Earth and the solar system.
In Indonesia, the Sailor Moon manga was published by Elex Media Komputindo. The 1990s anime adaptation was also broadcasted by domestic TV station Indosiar with Indonesian dub, including dubbed theme song.
