To celebrate the upcoming release of Evangelion‘s latest movie, Evangelion: 3.0+1.0, Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer, and retailer, Uniqlo, announced that they have released their line-up of “Evangelion UT” in Indonesia. The collection includes characters, events, and illustrations from the animators of the latest Evangelion movie.
This is not the first time Uniqlo collaborating with anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture creator. Previously, Uniqlo has collaborated with manga magazines such as Weekly Shonen Jump and Weekly Shonen Magazine to release their line up of Manga UT featuring characters and events from the manga. Uniqlo also collaborated with Sailor Moon to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Sailor Moon manga.
Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 is the upcoming last movie of Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy which retells the original anime series, Neon Genesis Evangelion. Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 is set to be released in Japan on June 27, 2020, almost eight years after the last movie, Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, released in Japan.
