As previously reported, Final Fantasy: Lost Stranger is one of the new manga titles that Indonesian comics publisher m&c! planned to publish in 2021. On Monday (11/10), the Twitter account of the publisher’s comics editors has revealed that the first volume of the manga is scheduled to ship on 13 October 2021. The post also reveals that the book retails for IDR 48,000 (about US$ 3.38).

Final Fantasy: Lost Stranger tells about Sasaki Shogo, who gets a job at Square Enix with the dream of working on a Final Fantasy game. The work he gets has nothing to do with Final Fantasy, though, and as he feels let down, he and his sister who also works at the company gets hit by a truck and are transported to a Final Fantasy world. The manga is written by Hazuki Minase and drawn by Itsuki Kameya, and is serialized in Square Enix’s Shonen Gangan since 2017 and has seven collected volumes at the time of this writing.

m&c! is a comics publisher under the Kompas-Gramedia group. Other than publishing manga, the publisher also publishes Disney comics magazines, and books, Hong Kong martial arts comics, as well as Indonesian comics under the Koloni imprint. The publisher also has the Akasha imprint for mature comics and the Clover imprint for domestic and translated novels.
