Comments
I feel that this anime so far has the most satisfying quality for this season. The first episode is presented with a film-like quality, not a usual TV animation series. The elegant orchestral background music is really fitting for the fantasy and intense action themes in this first episode. The fantasy theme set up by the first episode also appears to be in a whole new level compared to other fantasy anime in this season so far. The details of the background and characters, and some combination between 2D and 3D animation can really build up the intense action scene. With it’s epic story, monumental visual, world building, and music it’s a treat for fans of RPG, be it JRPG or DnD-likes RPG. But it is advisable to take a look at the previous series before getting into this one. You don’t have to play the game, but at least the first series is enough to understand certain parts in this anime.
