One of the major Japanese Pop Culture events in Indonesia, C3 AFA Jakarta 2017 (formerly AFAID), has announced additional guest stars on Sunday (18/6). Through their official facebook account, it was announced that Fhána, who recently performed the theme song for Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon) anime, will make her first performance in Indonesia. Fhána has also performed the theme songs for other anime such as The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior (Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou) and The Eccentric Family (Uchouten Kazoku).

The I Love Anisong concert in C3 AFA Jakarta 2017 will be different from the previous shows, as it will feature many artists who have never performed in Indonesia before, such as Ami Wajima, who performed the theme songs for Mayoiga, Kuromukuro and Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters, and Luna Haruna who performed the theme songs for many famous anime such as Fate/Zero, Monogatari Second Season, Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata, and Sword Art Online.

Guest cosplayers for C3 AFA Jakarta 2017 has also been announced along with Fhána, which consists of Naru (Indonesia), M.G (Hongkong), YingTze (Malaysia), DD-Tenka (China), Clarissa Punipun (Indonesia) and Enako from Japan, who is coming to Jakarta for the first time.

C3 AFA Jakarta 2017 will be held on 18 to 20 August 2017 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. The I Love Anisong concert itself will be held for two days on 19 and 20 August 2017.

C3 AFA is a popular Japanese pop culture event. As of 2017, Sozo is collaborating with Sotsu, the event organizer of C3, an anime and game show held in Tokyo and Hong Kong.

For Indonesia, the event will be held in Jakarta, 18-20 August 2017. As with last year, the venue will be at JIEXPO Arena Kemayoran, North Jakarta.

Aside from Indonesia, C3 AFA will also be held in Bangkok, 10-11 June 2017 at Royal Paragon Hall – Siam Paragon; in Tokyo, 26-27 August 2017 at Makuhari Messe; in Singapore, 24-26 November 2017 at Suntec Convention Center; and in Hong Kong, February 2018 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

As a major Japanese Pop Culture Event in Southeast Asia, AFA have been offering an exhibition space selling various anime goods, anisong concerts, and other stage programs featuring artists from anime industry. The event debuted in Singapore in 2008 and has been held annually since then. In 2012, AFA Indonesia was first held at JI Expo Kemayoran.
