Synopsis

A normal high school student named Touya Mochizuki was accidentally killed. However, right after that he met God who apologized to him because of the mistake that led him to die like that. So, God allowed him to be reborn in another world and granted him any wish he wanted. And so, Touya chose to bring his smartphone. In his second chance at life, he befriended many important figures, inherited the legacy of an ancient civilization and traveled around nonchalantly while possesing a great power.

Comments

Since I’ve read the novel some time ago, I still haven’t understood why this series gets an anime adaptation. The storyline is too mainstream for an isekai-themed (transported to another world) series, I think there are many other isekai stories that are more suitable  to receive anime adaptation. And what I’ve predicted really happens now: the story becomes boring because the main character has already received many advantages. The interesting part in this anime is only when Touya talked leisurely in front of God, and the fact that he chose to bring a smartphone to another world. After that? It’s just a compilation of trivial problems that are solved really fast. The story in this anime becomes really boring because there aren’t any thrilling actions or something that could make some laughs. However, at least there is one thing that I can apreciate from this anime: the opening song is nice.
