Previously, Encore Films hinted that the animated film Fireworks, Should We See It From the Side or the Bottom? (Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miru ka? Yoko kara Miru ka?) will be screened on Indonesia. On Tuesday, (3/10) Encore has revealed through their official Facebook page that the film will premiere on 1 November. Further information regarding the list of cinemas that will screen the film has not been announced yet.

Directed by Nobuyuki Akeuchi, Uchiage Hanabi tells the story of a group of boys who try to see a fireworks display from the town lighthouse, to see if fireworks looked round or flat when seen from the side. Meanwhile, one of those boys, Norimichi, receives an invitation from his crush Nazuna to run away with her. The animated feature is based of Shunji Iwai’s 1993 live action film with the same name. Akiyuki Shinbou (Bakemonogatari, Puella Magi Madoka Magica) is listed as chief diretor while Hitoshi Oone (live action Bakuman) wrote the script.
