Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi Level Max ni Natteshimatta is a light novel series written by Kisetsu Morita and illustrated by Benio. It was first published online on web novel platform Shousetsuka ni Narou since 2016 before getting picked up to be released by SB Creative’s GA Bunko imprint in January 2017, with 13 volumes have been released at the time of this writing. The main character is Azusa, an office worker who dies young from overworking. She gets reincarnated in a fantasy world as an immortal, unaging witch and decides to live her new life leisurely unlike in her previous life. She makes a living by hunting some slimes, the weakest monsters, every day. However, after doing that same thing for 300 years, the experience points she accumulated ends up making her reach her maximum level which gives her immense powers. Can Azusa maintain her low key life with such powers?

The manga adaptation of the novels is drawn by Yusuke Shiba and is serialized in Square Enix’s Gangan Online since June 2017, with seven tankoubon volumes have been released at the time of this writing. Four audio dramas have also been produced starring Aoi Yuuki as Azusa, while an anime adaptation has been announced in October 2019 for an unspecified yet broadcast date.

A spin-off novel also written by Kisetsu Morita and illustrated by Benio titled Hira Yakunin Yatte 1500-nen, Maō no Chikara de Daijin ni Sarechaimashita focusing on the character Beelzebub has also been released in September 2019, with the manga version also by Yusuke Shiba released at the same time. Morita and Benio have also released additional spin-offs Red Dragon Jogakuin and Elf no Gohan on Gangan Online.
