Year 2620, the chosen men who joined the Annex I expedition crew departs to planet Mars. The expedition aims to find samples that can be used to make vaccines that can save humanity from a mysterious disease outbreak, and eradicate the colony of cockroaches inhabiting the planet that has evolved over hundreds of years. Not only that, Annex I crew are also dealing with a conspiracy behind various incidents that happened to them during the expedition.
Staff replacement that occured behind the scenes made the second season of Terraformars looked fresher. The anime is now appear with more “vivid” colors than before, complete with the presentation style that this time appears more “futuristic” and slightly emphasize the elements of comedy. Even so, the fist fight scene between Annex I crew and a colony of cockroaches that have the same “super” power still presented intensely. Comes with a fresher presentation, Terraformars Revenge may be an option for those who are looking for an action-sci-fi anime series or who have been watching the first season of this anime. The second season of the Gakusen Toshi Asterisk series, which told about the struggle of Amagiri Ayato and Julis Alexia von Riessfeld in a competition named Phoenix Festa. Their struggle continue after battle against Irene and Priscilla Urzaiz in the 4th Round.
In this first episode of second season, there shows an exciting battle which will excite those who follow the first season(including me). This anime will be more lively with the return of Rasmus Faber in its’ music. (Hafizh Andifaisa/KAORI Newsline)
Tonkatsu DJ Agetarou
Agetarou is a teenage boy who work and live in a Tonkatsu restaurant which run by his family. As a son of his family, Agetarou is trusted by his father to being the successor of this restaurant. But as a teenager, Agetarou refuse it because he think that run a Tonkatsu restaurant is not a cool stuff. Soon everything change when his father give Agetarou a delivery job to a night club. Arrived at the night club, he is allowed to enter the club as a payment for his delivery service. There he experiences what a night-life is, with its’ glamorous dance floor and also some groove from the DJ. He then realized that being a DJ is not any different with making a Tonkatsu, playing a turntable is just like how his father fry the katsu. After the night, he makes promise to his father that he will learn how to make Tonkatsu seriously, so he can be a Tonkatsu DJ.
The first time watched this anime, absurd might be the word that would be expressed. With the touch of some surreals and unique visual with its’ unique character, this anime presented an awesome level of absurdity, in a serious way which made this as one of some really uniquely interesting show in this season. Aside the absurdity, this anime presented its’ DJ and night-life theme in a good way. Behind the analogy of DJ-ing and Tonkatsu, this anime might told what is a night-life and DJ by the viewpoint of a high-schooler who also just recently experienced it. Adapted from a shonen manga, this anime also had a shonen-style story behind its’ absurdity, an easy to digest and understand story of a young boy who wanted to reach his dream. This anime is a direct sequel to the first season of Ushio to Tora. Not long after what’s happened in the first season, Ushio and Tora have to be prepared to face a new terror. With his iconic mystical weapon, Beast Spear which can seal the demon, Ushio and Tora have to anticipate the revival of legendary demon, Hakumen no Mono.
Ushio to Tora 2 could be your choice if you look for some action anime in this season. There almost no any significant change from the previous season, this anime still showed some awesome action and fighting scene with some jokes to break the ice. Appeared with Japanese spiritual and demonic theme, this anime will looked interesting for them who missed some spiritual action anime such as Inuyasha and Kekkaishi. Because this is a direct sequel of the first season, you might have to take a look at its first season before watch this second season. (Rafly N/KAORI Newsline)
Wagamama High Spec
A short series to greet incoming Visual Novel release with the same title. Wagamama High Spec tells us about Kouki Narumi, A Highschooler who is also a Mangaka. Because Kouki writes a pretty risque manga, he don’t want anyone know about it. However, Kaoruko Rokuonji, the Student Council President where Kouki study, knows about it and blackmailing Kouki to join student council. Even though Vice-pres disagreeing with Kaoruko, Problems and troubles keeps piling up.
As I wrote in the synopsis above, this series is a PROMOTIONAL VIDEO for the incoming novel in 28 april. I kind of find out that the protagonist probably won’t appear in the series and this series will be some kind of prologue or a filler in the novel. If you going to play the novel, I reckon you watch this series first (Naufalbepe – KAORI Newsline)
