On Friday (3/12), the social media account of Elex Media Komputindo‘s comic editors posted a list of the publisher’s ten best-selling comics in November 2021. The fourth volume of Jujutsu Kaisen takes the top spot, followed by One Piece volume 97 and Gokushufudo volume 4 in the second and third place.

Here is the list of Elex Media’s ten best-selling comics in November 2021:

  1. Jujutsu Kaisen vol. 4 (released on 5 November)
  2. One Piece vol. 97 (released on 3 November )
  3. Gokushufudo vol. 4 (released on 3 November)
  4. The Promised Neverland vol. 20 (released on 17 November)
  5. Detektif Conan vol. 9 Premium version (released on 17 November)
  6. The King’s Beast vol. 1 (released on 10 November)
  7. Detektif Conan Movie: The Fist of Blue Sapphire (first) (released on 3 November)
  8. I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level vol. 3 (released on 24 November)
  9. Fire Force vol. 18 (released on 3 November)
  10. Man and His Cat vol. 5 (released on 24 November)

Jujutsu Kaisen, Gokushufudo, The King’s Beast and A Man and His Cat are printed on book paper and retail for IDR 40,000 (about US$ 2.75). Meanwhile, One Piece and Fire Force retails for IDR 28,000 (about US$ 1.93). The Promised Neverland retails for IDR 35,000 (US$ 2.41), I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level retails for IDR 45,000 (US$ 3.10), Detektif Conan Premium retails for IDR 65,000 (US$ 4.47), and Detektif Conan Movie: The Fist of Blue Sapphire retails for IDR 80,000 (US$ 5.51).

Jujutsu Kaisen manga tells the story of Yuji Itadori, a student who lives in a world where negative energy called Curse can bring disaster in the world. Itadori’s life then changed as he becomes a student at a school that trains Curse exterminators. The manga is serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since March 2018. The manga also had received an anime adaptation, which began airing in October 2020.

Elex Media Komputindo is a comics publisher under the Kompas-Gramedia Group. The publisher releases licensed foreign comics, including manga, and also Indonesian comics. Since 2005, Elex Media also published comics that were intended for adult audiences under the new imprint called Level Comics.
