Previously, it was announced that that m&c! Publisher will publish Tite Kubo‘s latest manga Burn the Witch in Indonesia. One year after the announcement, the manga finally shipped to the Indonesian bookstores on June 22, 2022, with a suggested retail price of IDR 65,000 (about US$ 4.38).

Burn the Witch is set in the same setting as Kubo’s previous work, Bleach. The main characters are Ninny Spangcole and Noel Niihashi, two “witches” or agents of Wing Bind, an agency that protects and manages dragons in Reverse London, a hidden side of London populated by dragons. The manga began as a one-shot chapter published on July 16, 2018, on Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. After that, Weekly Shonen Jump published the “first season” of the manga from August to September 2020, which consists of four chapters.
The manga had been adapted into an anime film in October 2020. The anime film is produced by Studio Colorido with Muse Communication streaming the anime on YouTube for Southeast and South Asia in three episodes format. A “second season” of the manga is also announced at the release of the final chapter of the “first season”. The tankoubon volume for the manga is released in October 2020.
m&c! is an Indonesian comics publisher under the Kompas-Gramedia group. Other than publishing manga, the publisher also publishes Disney comics magazines, and books, Hong Kong martial arts comics, as well as Indonesian comics under the Koloni imprint.
