Publisher Elex Media Komputindo is releasing the Parasyte manga through their Level Comics imprint. Parasyte is scheduled For release on June 22.
Written by Hitoshi Iwaaki and serialized in Afternoon manga magazine from 1988 to 1995, Parasyte (Japanese title: Kiseijuu) has won numerous awards, such as Kodansha Manga Award in 1993, and Seiun Award in 1996. In Parasyte , a massive murder phenomenon called “Mincemeat Murders” appeared throughout the whole world. Shinichi Izumi, a high school student, happens to have a parasite living inside his body, replacing his right hand. Together, Shinichi is ready to unveil the truth behind everything that is happening in the world.
Parasyte has been adapted into an anime on 2014. Parasyte has also been adapted into a two-part live action movie, both of which were shown in Indonesia a year ago.
