Walking across time. That is what Mari Hayase done to be reunited with his father who has been away for three years. Assisted by his friend, Waka Mizuki and Jun Mizuki, Mari go across time through a book and met with various world notable scientists in their era.
Presented as an anime series that is intended for children, Time Travel Shoujo feature stories that can be easily followed by its audience. The story of Mari who managed to time travel (by accident) and met with notable scientists of their era became the main attraction of this anime. Some educational values (such as the origin of the scientist’s discovery) can blend with entertaining and exciting story without sounding too patronizing. Adapted from a music and drama CD series, Tsukiuta the Animation tells about 2 male idol units Six Gravity and Procellarum. While these 2 units are rival, they actually still in same agency and often collaborate in same stage.
For viewers who is not familiar with this series, Tsukiuta is an music franchise which created from anthropomorphized Months, where Six Gravity represent December to May and Procellarum representing June to November. While B-Project approach more serious tone this season, first episode of Tsukiuta the Animation tend to be more calm and relaxing. It tells story about Kakeru, a member of Six Gravity and his interaction with an elementary schooler who asked by his sister to attend a handshake event for her. It is clear that this anime created with female as their target audiences. However, that does not mean male audiences will not be able to enjoy this anime, especially if they are looking for a comedic fun anime (Dany Muhammad/Indonesian Anime Times).
