A Sequel to an anime with the same title that was released in 1997. Berserk tells the story of Guts, the Black Swordsman, tied to a bleak fate. As he walks the earth, evil follows him. Guts is on a journey to fight his fate and seek vengeance for the one who is responsible for his fate. Armed with his giant sword, superior swordsman skill and unrivaled strength, Guts is ready to fight whatever dares to cross his path.
While it might be an exaggeration to call this series as “Dark Souls the Animation”, it definitely makes sense to call it as such. Watching Guts fights against monsters, skeletons, evil spirits, demons or humans is really breath-taking. Although Liden Films makes this series with intense CGI, it turns out to really work well. Even though it is almost 20 years apart from the prequel, I believe this show will serve well for both old fans who watch it as nostalgic feeling and new fans who seek thrill in it (Naufalbepe – KAORI Newsline)

One day, the club visited by a pink wombat saying that they have been chosen as Battle Lovers. With the power of LOVE, they have to protect earth from evil monsters!
This is what happens when “hey let’s make a mahou shoujo series, WITH HANDSOME GUYS”. Proven in the first season, the mahou shoujo troupe parody show directed by Shinji Takamatsu & Co, successfully entertain anime viewers. If you saying that this show is only for girls, you are DEAD WRONG. While this show runs with mahou shoujo troupe, the fun starts when these 5 guys actually doing guy stuff in a mahou shounen(?) uniforms. With the out-of-the box comedy, Battle Lovers will entertain us while protecting earth from evil monsters! (Naufalbepe/KAORI Newsline)

Born in a family who owned a judo dojo, Haruki Bandou’s judo career has been stalled because of shoulder injury. Think he has no future in that sport, Haruki decide to quit. One of Haruki’s friend, Kazuma Hashimoto, also follow his step beacuse he wants to pursue other interest. After they quit, Kazuma asks Haruki if Haruki wants to follow him pursuing his new interest. Haruki surprised when he hears Kazuma plan to form a new male only cheerleader group and eventually asks Haruki to join him.
While their animation is average at best, The best part of Cheer Danshi!! is their character interaction which feel real and down to earth. The first episode of this anime focused on the friendship between Kazuma and Haruki. In this episode we can see how Haruki is still unsure with his decision regarding judo club. While he also didn’t express his rejection joining Cheerleading club, we can see from his gesture that he reluctant to join Kazuma plan. Kazuma, on the other hand, described as an understanding friend. He can see Haruki doubt. But instead push him to join, he slowly show Haruki the beauty of cheerleading, the philosophy behind, and why he interested in the first place. Aside that it is interesting to see an anime that use cheerleading as their main premise, and moreover, focused in male cheerleading group, since cheerleading itself often associated as female only activities. The continuation of the story of Allen Walker, an exorcist who work for Black Order to protect the mankind from the Akuma, the evil spirit created by an organization called Millennium Evil.
You don’t have to watch the prequel which have 100 episode or read the hundred chapter of the manga because even though this series is the continuation of the prequel, in the first episode they will explain everything so you can follow the story of Allen Walker without even touch the prequel or manga. Unfortunately the entire casts in the previous series did not go back but replaced by the new casts. But you can really tell that this series may have the same feeling as the prequel, some scene in the first episode are has very similar feeling with the prequel which is good for those who love the prequel so much. Highly recommended for those who have been following this series before and those who like anime with goth and fantasy to it. (Dirman/Kaori Newsline)
