DMM’s online browser game, Touken Ranbu, will be having its fifth musical adaptation. Titled Touken Ranbu – Mihotose no Komoriuta –, the musical is scheduled to open on 23 April 2017.
This time, the musical will get live viewing treatment for 4 selected countries: Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia. The location for the live screening will take place at Cinema XXI Plaza Senayan, with tickets priced at Rp 225000 (about US$ 16.9).
Touken Ranbu is a web-based online game by DMM where players have to defeat enemies using anthropomorphized historic swords. Studio Dogakobo had adapted the game into an anime, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru which aired in Fall 2016 season, while another adaptation, Katsugeki! Touken Ranbu, is produced by ufotable and scheduled to debut in July 2017.
