The Japanese rock band GRANRODEO will be having a live tour concert this year. Titled “GRANRODEO LIVE TOUR 2016 TREASURE CANDY,” the concert will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016. Although the concert itself will be held in Japan, Indonesian viewers will be able to watch it through a Live Viewing service.
The recording label for GRANRODEO, Lantis, has announced the live viewing program yesterday on Lantis Southeast Asia’s Facebok page. The concert will be broadcasted live in several countries such as Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Indonesia, through selected cinemas in those countries. Because the concert will be broadcasted throuh live viewing, viewers can watch it in the same day and the same time as the live concert itself, straight from Zepp DiverCity, Tokyo, Japan.
In Indonesia, the live viewing of GRANRODEO LIVE TOUR 2016 TREASURE CANDY will be broadcasted at Cinema XXI Plaza Senayan. Live viewing will be held on Friday, July 22 2016, starts from 5.00 p.m. at local time. The prices for the tickets of this live viewing hasn’t been announced, but the sale for the tickets will be started from July 15, 2016, on 12.00 a.m. at the Cinema XXI. Previously, the cinema had been a venue for the live viewing of two concerts of the idol group, µ’s.
GRANRODEO is a band composed of KISHOW (Kisho Taniyama) and e-ZUKA (Masaaki Iizuka). KISHOW is the vocalist who is also famous for his vocal ability and acting. While e-ZUKA is the guitarist and also creator of their songs. They have performed theme songs for various anime such as Kuroko’s Basketball, Code:Breaker, and Karneval.
The live tour concert is held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of GRANRODEO. Entering the 11th year of their career, they have most recently released their 24th single titled “Trash Candy,” that is also the opening song for the spring anime series Bungo Stray Dogs. In this concert, they will held 14 concert shows in 6 different cities in Japan. The concert tour will be performed in various venues such as live house, Osaka Castle Band Shell, and Hibiya Music Outdoor Hall. The concert in Zepp DiverCity Tokyo, the one that will be broadcasted abroad, will be the special one-man show of this group.
