ODEX Private Limited has announced on Saturday (8 April) that the anime film Kuroko no Basket: Last Game will be screened in Indonesia. The film will make it’s Indonesian debut in 17 May 2017. The film will is planned to be shown at CGV Cinemas Indonesia, Cinemaxx, and Platinum Cineplex Cinemaxx chains.

This film is a sequel from the anime series Kuroko no Basket. It took place after Kuroko and Kagami became sophomore. One day, an American basketball team named Jabberwock had a friendly match against a Japanese team, which they defeated harshly. To avenge the loss, Kuroko and Kagami were called together with other members of the Generation of Miracles to create a new team named Vorpal Swords.

Created by Tadatoshi Fujimaki, Kuroko no Basket tells the story of a high school basketball club in Japan that struggles for the National Basketball Tournament. Published in Weekly Shōnen Jump since December 2008, the manga has been adapted into anime and novel versions. In Indonesia, the manga has been published by M&C! with the title Kuroko’s Basketball since April 2017.
