Synopsis
First year high school student and also a book lover named Shiki Koshiyama suddenly joined the quiz club at the urging of Mari Fukami. Shiki and his colleagues not only try to master their knowledge, but also learned many techniques needed to be a winner in the world of quiz competition.

Nana Maru San Batsu has an alternative name 7O3X, which literally means 7 right and 3 wrong. A nice title for a quiz-themed anime. It seems to become a usual thing and even compulsory in the anime scenario to start the story by confronting two character with mildly sexualized scene, something like a bump with each other at the school hall, panties, getting caught at peeping the girl accidentally and etc. Shiki accidentally saw Fukami’s panties and then fortunately he is forgiven by her due to showing his ability in quiz competition before, in a session of club demonstration. Much like Onoda in Yowamushi Pedal, at first, who was just who used to pedal his bike on long trips to Akibahara before getting pulled to put his skills in competitive cycling, Shiki has a high interest in reading and has become librarian, so it’s not hard to find the answer for trivia questions for him.
Quiz participants are given a grid of questionnaires to answer questions that will appear in the quiz competition. They have to compete quickly and accurately in answering even before the question has been read. As for this first episode, even with the slow pace, we still can easily follow the storyline. The animation looks simple but still nice to be watched.
