Synopsis

Kanae Otowa and Sousuke Kagura are two friends who are both fond of music, but they have opposite nature. The Otowa residence is also enlivened by five ClassicaLoids (classical music composers who “come alive” and have unique abilities called “Musik”) named Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt, Chopin, and Schubert who have eccentric nature. One day, Kanae’s “mysterious” little brother, Wataru, suddenly came to the Otowa residence to live with her sister. He brought his unique pet, Dovo the hippo. Behind his behavior that likes to make fun of the ClassicaLoid who already lives in the residence, Wataru actually keeps a secret plan.

As in the first season, the first episode of ClassicaLoid second season also opened with a scene of chaos at Otowa’s residence, accompanied with Symphony No. 9’s Ode to Joy, composed by Beethoven. If you miss the quirky-yet-absurd comedy, complete with classical music rehearsed in modern feel when the ClassicaLoid uses their Musik ability, you can still find it here. If there is something that feels “better”, the second season seems to have spawned a plot that is ready to be explored in the next episode, the secret plan of Wataru, Kanae’s mysterious brother.

Then who is the Wataru? What will he do next to the ClassicaLoid who already lived at Otowa’s residence? When you’re ready to go back to enjoy all the quirkness and sillyness of ClassicaLoids, this anime can be a fresh option for those looking for an “unusual” anime.
