On Wednesday, 5 December 2018, Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo has announced through a post on the social media account of the publisher’s editors of comics that Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun manga will be released in Indonesia soon. The first volume of the manga is planned to be released in early 2019, although the exact release date has not been revealed yet. At the time the post was made, the first volume has been translated and was undergoing layout and cover design process.

Here is the synopsis of Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun:
Nene Yashiro, a first year high school student knocked on the third toilet door on the third floor of the old school building three times. “Hanako-san, Hanako-san. Are you there?”
Hanako-san is the number seven mystery in the Seven Mysteries of the school that’s rumoured to grant any wishes. But, when Hanako-san came out of the toilet, it turned out that Hanako-san was a boy! Can he grant Nene’s wish?
This story revolves around Nene Yashiro who always gets involved in supernatural matters at her school.
Written and illustrated by Aida Iro, Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun is serialised in Square Enix’s GFantasy magazine since June 2014. The series has reached 9 volumes and is still ongoing. The series is also available digitally in English via Yen Press with the official title Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun.
