From his Instagram account, Faza Meonk announced that one of his popular comic characters, Si Juki, will get an animated movie adaptation. Collaborating with Kumata Studio and Falcon Pictures, more Information will be announced in the Popcon Asia 2016 event in Jakarta Convention Center, August 14, 2016.
Si Juki is a comic character created by Faza Meonk under Pionicon Management. The character is quite popular among social media user. Until now, there are more than 270.000 people who like Juki’s Facebook fanpage. Also, in Twitter and Instagram, the @JukiHoki account has obtained 80.000 followers. His many books has become best sellers in Indonesian bookstores. Along with the comics, Si Juki has also been developed in other media such as merchandise, short animation, and mobile games.
Previously, Si Juki already adapted as short animation youtube series titled “Si Juki Animastrip!” by Kratoon Channel.
