Have you ever question how “real” is your identity in the Internet? Recovery of an MMO Junkie seems to ask that question. The main character, Moriko, is a 30 years-old woman who uses a male avatar in the online game. In that game, she fell in love with a kind and cute woman avatar named Lily. They gradually grew closer as they play together to the point that their other guild members thought they are a couple. The problem, however, is Lily’s real identity. It is implied that Lily’s player is not a cute woman like the character, but a grown up man. Without knowing each other’s identity, both of them keep flirting in the online world. It will be interesting to see how they are dating with their “fake” identities online while slowly understanding about their “real” identities.
