Through its Facebook page, PopCon Asia announced that the annual event will be held again in August 12 to 14, 2016. The venue is the same place as last year’s which is at Jakarta Convention Center, Senayan. It is also reported that there will be a big change in this event.
PopCon Asia is a platform to celebrate and appreciate artists, creators, and other professionals in creative industry, especially in the fields of comics, games, toys, and animations. With the aim to support local creative industry, PopCon Asia has became a networking and collaborating event among creators, brands, government representatives, media, and another related people, to grow the creative industry in Asia.
PopCon Asia also opens a chance for those who want to feel the experience of working in creative industry, through a Graphic Designer Internship. The requirements are:
1. 3 months minimum duration of internship
2. Aged between 20-30
3. Loves pop culture
4. Team player
5. Could work under pressure
6. Able to use adobe illustrator, photoshop.
7. Ready to work in Menteng, Central Jakarta
