On Wednesday (17/2), Indonesian comics publisher m&c! has posted an update about the planned release of Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku in Indonesia. The post on m&c!’s comics editors account reveals that the translation for the manga is being edited, and also confirms that the manga will be released under the publisher’s Akasha label for mature-rated comics and that the manga will be printed on book paper. Further information about the release date and retail price has not been revealed yet.

Written and illustrated by Fujita, Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku tells the story of Narumi Momose, an office lady who happens to be a closet otaku. After breaking up with her boyfriend who works in the same office, Narumi applies for a job at another office. In her new workplace, she met Hirotaka Nifuji, her childhood friend who is also an otaku. because being otaku was the reason Narumi broke up, she asks Hirotaka to keep her otaku hobby a secret. The manga was first posted as web manga on Pixiv in 2014 before getting serialized in 2015 on digital manga platform Comic Pool. The anime adaptation has aired in spring 2018, animated by A-1 Pictures.
