As previously reported, Indonesian publisher m&c! plans to publish Nekokurage’s Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, Hakuri’s Sachi-iro no One Room, and Chikara Kimizuka and Yen Hioka’s Boku no Namae wa “Shounen A” manga. The first volumes of three titles have been included in a tentative schedule of m&c!’s manga releases for the month of April 2021 that was posted on 26 March 2021, with the titles The Apothecary Diaries, One Room of Happiness, and My Name is A, respectively.

The first volume of The Apothecary Diaries is slated to be shipped in the second week of April with the retail price of IDR 45,000 (about US$ 3.08). It was already confirmed in early March that the m&c! will print the manga on book paper.

The first volumes of One Room of Happiness and My Name is A are slated to be shipped in the third week of April, with My Name is A confirmed by the list to be published under m&c!’s Akasha mature comics label. The former retails for IDR 28,000 (about US$ 1.9) while the latter for IDR 45,000.
The Apothecary Diaries that m&c! is publishing in Indonesia is Nekokurage’s manga adaptation of the light novel series of the same name, serialized in Square Enix’s Big Gangan. In the story, there lived a pharmacist named Maomao in a certain kingdom. One day, a group of bandits kidnapped her and sold her to work for a courtesant at the royal palace. At the same time, a rumor about the heir of royal family being cursed spreads, and one of the palace’s eunuch, Jinshi, asked Maomao’s assistance to solve the case. Natsu Hyuuga began serializing story as a web novel on the website Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2011 before Shufunotomo has been publishing it as a light novel series in their Hero Bunko label since 2012.
Elex Media has previously released a different manga adaptation of the novel by Minoji Kurata from Shogakukan with the title The Pharmacist’s Monologue: Maomao’s palace case files.
In Hakuri‘s One Room of Happiness, an unnamed teen girl who is abused at home and school is stopped from ending her life by a mysterious masked man. The girl then runs away with the man, who gives her the name “Sachi” which means happiness. Pursued by the police who treats her disappearance as a kidnapping case, the two of them makes a pact to get married of they can evade the police or die together if get caught. The manga debuted in Square Enix and Pixiv’s Gangan Pixiv website in February 2017, with eight collected volumes have been released at the time of this writing. A live action TV drama adaptation had also aired in 2018.
Written by Chikara Kimizuka and drawn by Yen Hioka, My Name is A follows a boy named Takashi and her friend Yui, beginning from when Takashi murdered a teacher to protect Yui. The series is serialized in Square Enix’s Gangan Online and finished with four volumes.
