Synopsis
Fudo Nomura was a delinquent student and because of his actions, he got expelled from his school and got transferred to a new school. But the school he was transferred to isn’t an ordinary school because there were many armed girls there. This school was originally an all-girls school until under certain circumstances, it changed into a co-ed school. When the male students came, they couldn’t co-exist with the girls. They bullied and even harrassed the girls, so the girls fought back armed with weapons to dicipline the delinquent male students to obey the rules and co-exist with the girls. In the end, all of the male students have to obey the rule from the female students and they had to dress like girls to dicipline them. Despite knowing this, Fudo insisted to continue living freely his own way. Then Rin Onigawara, one of the most honored girls in the school, fought him to dicipline Fudo.
Comments
As indicated by the premise, there is gender conflict at play within the story with the girls resisting from the boys, and create their own social structure where girls rule. Aside from that, the anime is rife with absurdities that makes it amusing, like the comical facial expressions, and the chuunibyou looks of the girl students (is it really okay and normal for students to bring swords and wear weird costumes at school? Lol). There are also secret techniques that appears in the fight scenes. The visual aspects are quite promising with dynamic animation and minimalistic design in the opening sequences. Busou Shoujo Machiavellism can fill in for an action anime with not-so-confusing story.
