KomikRameRame MenujuTimur (literally means “let’s go together to east”) is a collection of travel logs that are told in ten stories, depicted in the visual form of comics by ten comic artists. The journey of Intan Anggita, a blogger-traveller, is captured by Franki Indrasmoro, the owner of a comic studios FranKKomiK and a Comic Producer.
“Ten artists who take part in illustrating the comics are Afif Numbo, Ferry Ickhwano, Dana Obera, Alfi Zachkyelle, Admira Wijaya, Bintuo Edan, Novian Kurnia, Ella Elviana, Jasmine Surkatty, and Suryo Nugroho. The stories are written by Intan Anggita, Arie Kriting, and Sammy Pasau, which are interpreted beautifully into the characters by the artists. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this comic has a firm concept and also educating,” said Franki Indrasmoro, who is known well among Indonesian as Pepeng NAIF (an Indonesian band).
“I really like the work of FranKKomik. Reading it feels like experiencing it in the real place,” Intan Anggita commented.
In the production of this comic, FranKKomik collaborates with a publisher in Jakarta, Serambi Ilmu Semesta. Believing in the interest of Indonesian comic readers to collect this comic, Serambi Publishing will distribute it to every part of Indonesia.
