In October, Encore Films Indonesia teased the release of live action adaptation of the manga Ajin in Indonesia. On Wednesday (8/11), Encore Films Indonesia posted another teaser and also confirmed the screening of the live action film on its Facebook page. Despite the confirmation, there is still no exact date when the screening will begin, as the post only states “Coming Soon”.

The live action Ajin film has premiered in Japan on 30 September 2017. Directed by Katsuyuki Motohiro (Donten ni WarauPsycho-Pass The Movie), the film casts:

Ajin is a manga series written by Tsuina Miura with illustrations by Gamon Sakurai. First appeared in good! Afternoon magazine from Kodansha in 2012, Ajin tells the story of Kei Nagai, a teenage student who just recently discovered that he is an “Ajin” after being hit by a truck. An “Ajin” is an undead creature, currently on the hunt by the government because of its criminal status. Only Kaito, Kei Nagai’s closest friend, who understands Kei’s condition and circumstances.

Previously, the manga has been released in Indonesia by  Elex Media Komputindo under their Level Comics label, which specializes in manga with mature content.
