As previously reported, the superhero-themed manga series My Hero Academia will be published in Indonesia by the publisher m&c. On Friday, (8/9), the official Facebook page of m&c! announced that the first volume of My Hero Academia will be released on 4 October 2017.

The first volume will be released as a premium edition, with similar paper quality and cover to the Japanese version of the comic. The comic, which gets rated 13+, will consists of 192 pages and will be sold at the price of IDR 40,000.00 (US$ 3.03). It has yet to be confirmed if the first volume will also be released as regular edition, or if the following volumes will also be released as premium edition.

My Hero Academia or Boku no Hero Academia is a comic series by Kohei Horikoshi. The comic is serialized in the Weekly Shounen Jump starting from 2014. The series tells of a boy named Izuku Midoriya who was born without any super powers in a world where most of the population possess superhuman abilities called “quirk”. In spite of that, he still wants to be a superhero by applying to the superhero school, U.A. High School. His fate changed when he met with his idol, the top hero All Might.

The comic has been adapted into an anime series and is currently airing its second season since 1 April 2017. In Indonesia, the anime can be watched on paid subscription channel Animax Asia every Saturday at 21.00 WIT (Western Indonesian Time).
