As previously reported, Elex Media has licensed the manga Black Clover to be published in Indonesia. By 10 January 2019, the social media account of Elex Media’s editors of comics had posted a picture showing some tanslated pages of Black Clover volume 1, confirming that the comics has finished being translated and edited. The post also stated that the first volume of Black Clover will be released at the end of January 2019, and confirmed that similar to Boruto, the book is released with better quality paper than regular releases.

Later, on 28 January 2019, weekly list of Elex Media comic book releases has confirmed that the first volume of Black Clover will be available on Indonesian bookstores on 30 January 2019.

Black Clover is manga written and drawn by Yuki Tabata, that tells the story of a young boy named Asta, who was born without any magical power but has a dream to become a Magus Emperor. To achieve his dream, Asta has trained hard on physical training. Asta is not alone. Along with his friend and rival who has the same dream, Yuno, a powerul young wizard who can control the wind, they embark on a journey to reach their dream. The manga is serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since 2015 and so far has already been collected into 19 volumes. It’s also has been licensed by Viz Media and has been collected into 13 volumes. It also spawns a novel series and an anime adaptation by Studio Pierrot that has been airing since October 2017.
