Kamen Rider Zi-O is the 20th and last series of the Kamen Rider franchise to air in the Heisei period. The main character is Sougo Tokiwa (Sou Okuno), a high school boy in 2018 who dreams of becoming a king. However, a time traveling girl from 50 years into the future named Tsukuyomi (Shieri Ohata) comes to warn him that in the future, he would become the demon king of time Ohma Zi-O who rules the world as a tyrant with the powers of past Kamen Riders and has devastated the world. Meanwhile, another time traveler from Tsukuyomi’s time, Geiz Myokoin (Gaku Oshida), also comes to 2018 to kill Sougo before he becomes Ohma Zi-O. But when another group of time travelers called the Time Jackers appear to alter the history of the Kamen Riders for their own agenda, Sougo takes the Ziku-Driver from Ohma Zi-O’s herald Woz (Keisuke Watanabe) and uses the Zi-O Ridewatch to become Kamen Rider Zi-O and fight the Time Jacker’s Another Riders.
With time travel theme, the show pays tribute to the previous Kamen Rider series in the Heisei period, with past Kamen Rider actors making guest appearances throughout the series’ run. Developed by Ishinomori Productions and Toei, the show airs as part of TV Asahi’s Super Hero Time block in Sunday morning from September 2018 to August 2019. Related media includes the crossover film with Kamen Rider Build, Heisei Generations FOREVER released on 22 December 2018 and the summer film Over Quartzer that was double-billed with the film of Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger and released on 26 July 2019. The former film has been screened in Indonesia in late March 2019 while the latter was screened without the Ryusoulger film in late October 2019.
At the time of this writing, 20 episodes of Kamen Rider Zi-O has already been certified by the Film Censorship Board as of 10 February 2021 and received 13+ rating.
Ultraman Max is the 19th Ultraman TV series and the sixth to air in the Heisei period. The show stars Souta Aoyama as Touma Kaito, a young man who often rescues people from natural disasters and seeks to join DASH. Though he failed his entrance test because his actions were deemed endangering his own safety, he recklessly replaces a wounded DASH member to fight a giant monster. Touma nearly gets killed in the battle, but he was saved by the being called Ultraman Max who bonds with him, and they begin to defend the Earth from monsters together.
Previously, Ultraman Max has also been shown in Indonesia on Global TV, Trans TV, and in 2012 on Indosiar following Ultraman Mebius.
RTV has previously aired Kamen Rider Ex-Aid from September to November 2019, Kamen Rider Build from February to March 2020, and Kamen Rider Black from August to October 2020. RTV has also aired Ultraman Taiga, Ultraman R/B, Ultraman Geed, Ultraman Orb, Ultraman X, Ultraman Ginga and Ginga S, Ultraman Zero the Chronicle, Ultraman Mebius, and Ultraman Cosmos.
