Indonesian TV station Rajawali Televisi (RTV) has confirmed it will show the tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Zero-One and Ultraman Nexus. The announcement was made in an ad for the channel’s October programs posted on its social media. The exact premiere dates have not been revealed yet.
Kamen Rider Zero-One is the first Kamen Rider TV series in the Reiwa era and the 30th TV series in the franchise overall airing from September 2019 to August 2020. In the story, AI-equipped androids called Humagears have been widely available in society, but a terrorist group calling itself MetsubouJinrai.net are hacking into them and turning them into monstrous Magias to attack humanity. The main character is Aruto Hiden, an aspiring comedian and the grandson of the CEO of Hiden Intelligence that produces the Humagears. After the death of his grandfather, Aruto is approached by his Humagear secretary Is to take over the company and inherit the Zero-One Driver to transform into Kamen Rider Zero-One and fight the threat of MetsubouJinrai.net.
Ultraman Nexus is a part of Tsuburaya Production‘s Ultra N Project aimed at reinventing the Ultaman franchise in 2004. The TV series aired from October 2004 to June 2005, and feature an Ultra warrior who changes between multiple hosts throughout the series. The story is told from the perspective of Kazuki Komon, a rookie member of anti-monster unit TLT who encounters the Ultra warrior and his hosts.
RTV has previously aired Kamen Rider Ex-Aid in 2019, Kamen Rider Build and Kamen Rider Black in 2020, and Kamen Rider Zi-O, Kamen Rider Gaim and Kamen Rider W in 2021. RTV has also previously aired Ultraman Taiga, Ultraman R/B, Ultraman Geed, Ultraman Orb, Ultraman X, Ultraman Ginga and Ginga S, Ultraman Zero the Chronicle, Ultraman Mebius, Ultraman Cosmos, Ultraman Max, Ultraseven X and Ultraman Z. The shows are also streamed on RTV’s YouTube channels.
