ODEX Private Limited via its Facebook Page has announced that the Crayon Shin-chan – Invasion!! Alien Shiriri film will be screened in several countries, including Indonesia. The exact release date of the film in Indonesia has yet to be revealed. The film itself has been screened in Japanese cinemas since 15 April 2017.
Crayon Shin-chan – Invasion!! Alien Shiriri is the 25th film of the series. It is directed by Masakazu Hashimoto and produced by Shin-Ei Animation. The opening theme song is “Kimi ni 100 Percent” by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu while the ending theme song is “Road-Movie” by Yu Takahashi.
The film tells the story of Nohara family, which consists of Shinnosuke (Shin-chan), Misae (Shin-chan’s mother), Hiroshi (Shin-chan’s father), Himawari (Shin-chan’s little sister), and Shiro (the family’s dog). One day, the Nohara family met a mysterious alien from outer space named Shiriri. After receiving a ray emitted by Shiriri, Hiroshi and Misae became 25 years younger to their child appearance. To return to their adult form, they must find Shiriri’s father who is currently somewhere in Japan.
Adapted from the comic written by Yoshihito Usui, the series tells the daily life of a 5-year-old kid named Shinnosuke, or often called as Shin-chan, and his family and friends. The series has sparked some controversy for featuring adult jokes by Shin-chan who is still a small child.
In Indonesia, Crayon Shin-chan comic was published by PT. Indorestu Pacific before re-released by Elex Media Komputindo.
