m&c! has released a novel from the Death Note series titled Death Note: Another Note The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases. The novel has been published o  28 August 2017.
Written by Nisio Isin, this novel is a prequel of the comic. It tells the story of BB’s murder case in Los Angeles. Here is the synopsis of the story:
“Three despicable murders happened in several places in Los Angeles. The victims were a man, a child, and a young woman. In every crime scene, where all of them were locked from inside, there was a wara ningyo, a Japanese straw doll usually made to curse someone.
The police were confused because of the different killing methods, but the best detective in this century who never revealed himself, L, started to realize the intention of the murderer.
Intelligence battle between L and the Los Angeles serial murderer was started!”
Death Note is a comic series about a young man named Light who found a Shinigami’s Death Note, which could kill anyone whose name is written on it. He then started to punish criminals using the book.
This comic from writer Tsugumi Ohba and artist Takeshi Obata was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2003 to 2006 and has been collected into 12 volumes. In Indonesia, the comic has been published by m&c! while the anime was aired in Indonesia at Global TV.
