On Wednesday (24/3), Indonesian indie game developer Tahoe Games has announced the release date for their game Rising Hell. The game will be released in May 2021 on PC and consoles. The game itself will be published by Indonesian game publisher Toge Productions, partnering with Another Indie and Chorus Worldwide.

Rising Hell is a rogue-lite platformer game where the player has to escape from hellish procedurally-generated locations. Along the way, the player has to overcome all the hurdles including hellish boss battles. The player is also accompanied by loud heavy metal songs to keep the adrenaline level maximum.

- Vertical Rogue-lite: Climb out of the ever-changing procedurally-generated hell while the ever-present threat of permadeath fills your veins with adrenaline.

Founded in 2015, Tahoe Games started developing Rising Hell in 2016 as a part of a game jam event. The game was then released on Steam Early Access in October 2019. The game was also nominated in the 2019 and 2020 Level Up KL SEA Game Awards and Taipei Game Show 2020 Indie Game Award.
